Fan Q&A - August 21st 2017

Sorry guys, I've been super swamped and side tracked with all sorts of stuff so I haven't answered a Q&A in over a month. Lets try to get back into the swing of things! I'm doing this on a monday this week, but I'll try to get back to doing them each thursday. :) If you want to submit Q&A questions either email them to my website(here) or send them to me (@SammiScarlette) on twitter! I'll be posting Q&A's each Thursday afternoon! XOXO Sammi

Q: @JuanDeMarco4: Favorite restaurant and why? A: Probably the Palm Court at the Plaza Hotel. I love things that are opulent, and I love things that are Victorian (well technically it is Edwardian as it opened in 1907)... The Palm Court is definitely the most opulently decorated restaurant in NYC. The food is great too, I especially love their Champagne Tea.

Q: @Meggers228: What music did u grow up with? Meaning your parents listen too inspired u to become musician A: My taste in music is NOT from my parents. My dad, when I was a kid mostly listened to jazz. He now listens to top 40 rap (It's quite horrifying that someone with numerous masters degrees in engineering owns a copies of Lil Wayne cd's). My mom also listened to a lot of jazz, and then stuff like Tony Bennet and Celine Dion.. The only good albums I remember my mom playing when I was a kid were The Police's Greatest Hits, Sting "Brand New Day", Seal's self titled album and David Grey's "White Ladder". Haha. My taste in music comes from, that growing up in the early/mid 2000's the Phoenix Metro had a great alternative rock station called The Edge, based out of Scottsdale (their studio was actually located like 5 minutes from the house I grew up in). I used to listen to The Edge non-stop, and they played a lot of 90's alternative rock.

Q: @ChawanFrance: Is it like heaven with @GregFunRadio ? Lol A: There is nothing more blissful than a fake international love affair with a radio DJ that wants to take me for fast food! I am a very happy girl!

Q: @OfficeSquatch: If you could time-travel to a time, or event, before, you were born, what would it be, and why? A: At first I was inclined to say go back to the late 80's and see Nirvana or something.. But upon re-thinking, it would be cool to go back to Versailles in the days of Marie Antoinette (before the French Revolution when everything was going down hill) and enjoy the food & the finery. It would also be interesting to revisit major historic events like the voyage & sinking of the Titanic or the JFK assassination to see what truly happened... Did the shots really come from the book depository?
